Great bit of kit for working the dogs at night

Change if colours is great for partially colour blind dogs because with this ball you get about 6 different colours that automatically change from one colour to another
The ball with start to flash after five minutes of no use then five minutes after that it will turn itself off
The ball also floats so makes a great bit of kit for might time Walter work

Great Product
Our dog loves this ball, he generally destroys everything within minutes but this ball has lasted ages and I expect it to do so for a long time! The lights in it are great which makes it easy to see when dark

Lights up really nicely, looks like a great product. Unfortunately it fell apart on first use and the light part fell out leaving a big hole for the dog to destroy the ball.
What a shame!! As others have said in their reviews, its bright, robust, fits in a ball launcher and stays on for quite some time (5 mins and another 5 mins pulsing).
The battery change process is simple and the estimated 35hrs use is about right.
I do think in 2018/19 that this could have been a rechargeable battery with the USB power connector internally protected.
So with so much good, the reason its only getting 1 star is that you're pretty much guaranteed to lose it. Its clearly been well designed in many areas so why then has the scenario of the 'battery dieing' been blatantly overlooked. Thats right when the batteries inevitably run out, you get no warning at all, no pulsing, no warning light, no nothing!!
This oversight makes this completely useless for actually using in the dark which makes this useless as a product.
DO NOT BUY!! Maybe then Nite-ize will go back to the drawing board with this.
