I am sorry to say it but if you want your bike to be protected against thieves, rather buy another lock. My friend locked his bike with this lock while he was at work and after his shift bike was gone!!
light and portable but code changes!
I was pleased with the lock when I first opened and played with it - the code was easy to set and its fairly light, un-noticeable when attached to the bike with the mount included. For a cheap lock it also seems quite secure - my bike survived outside at centre parcs for a weekend so it's doing something right! It does however have a quirk - every so often the code will change! Only by one digit, so 1111 might become 1211 or something like that, but it's rather odd and I'm now a little worried every time I lock it that I'm going to be faced with a crystal maze style puzzle when I get back to it... My brother first pointed it out when he tried to lock it after borrowing it but I thought he'd done something dim. I had to apologise to him the next day when it happened to me too hahaha
Yes. I bought this from go outdoors in Southampton along with my Tern Folding bike only a few weeks ago. I'm very happy with the bike but the plastic 'clip in' part of the bracket (part of the part that is attached to the lock) broke off today which makes it pretty useless of I want to ride around with the lock (of course I do!). I'm in Stevenage so nowhere near a go outdoors that sells these locks, I will try to return it next time I'm in Southampton store but very disappointed
