The Beta EVO replaces the iconic original BetaStick, which was designed to smoothly and efficiently remote-clip bolts. Almost entirely redesigned, the EVO not only improves on the design and durability but also offers up increased functionality.
Whilst still providing the same simple, extendable reach and reliable carabiner ‘holstering’, the EVO features a more sturdy, grooved pole construction which incorporates a flick-lock mechanism, rather than the less reliable twist-lock used on the previous version. This offers both improved locking/hold (no chance of ‘spinning’) and is also quicker and easier to adjust. On top of this principal upgrade, the EVO also offers a host of improved features.
- Capacity for lasso clipping and quickdraw removal
- Integral hooking feature for rope retrieval
- Compatible with a wider range of snap gate carabiners – both solid and wire gate
- A dual position spring to securely retain carabiners of differing sizes
- A more ergonomically angled head to easily access bolt hangers in difficult clipping situations
- Now clips to harness head fist, making it more stable and less likely to get damaged
