Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.
CHEST: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, making sure to keep the tape under the arms and around your shoulder blades.
WAIST: Measure around the smallest part of your waist (natural waistline).
HIPS: Stand with your heels together and measure around the fullest part.
INSIDE LEG: Measure from the top of your inner leg, along the inside seam to the bottom of your leg.

Highly surprised
I bought these trousers as the following day I was on an all day hike (Scottish highlands) as snow and rain was forecast. I didn’t expect much but wow kept me dry. Very comfy and lightweight.
So suprised how good these are would recommend especially for the price
