These boots are not...
These boots are not suitable for people with a high instep. The integrated tongue does not open wide enough and you end up forcing your foot in to the boot if wearing thicker socks. This then compresses your toes leading to great discomfort. They also came up smaller than previous Braishers and my toe touches the end of the boot when descending. As well as this, the leather on the inside of the ankle is build up with a square edge…. On about 8 occasions during a weekend of strenuous hiking, these raised edges caught on my other boot when on steep descents, causing me to lose balance…. very frightening when sheer drops are involved.
All in all I am very disappointed with my purchase. After one weekend they heading for the bin.

Great boots but disappointed to see go outdoors selling exactly the same boots for £99 after I'd just paid £120 at blacks
Toe box leaks
Less than a week old and letting in water on both toe boxes. Brasher clearly not what they used to be. Not a brand I'll be returning to.
Not Happy
The worst walking boots I have ever had. Lasted 6 months all the inside of the heel on both boots has rubbed away . Very uncomfortable
Great boots
Having owned these boots for the last 2 yrs and practically using them every day, they have lasted really well and I shall be buying another pair.
Sizing
The sizing comes out smaller than you think, my size 8, is more like a 7

Good boots. Not too heavy and have found them to be pretty comfortable so far. No blisters or rubbing on the two occasions that I have worn them so far. Look sturdy and like they will last for a long time.

Nice looking boot, very comfortable straight out of the box
Very pleased
I needed some new boots so headed to Blacks in Ambleside, the sales assistant was really helpful and suggested these boots, so glad I bought them, there fabulous, very comfy, well made and I imagine they will.last quite a number of miles. Did a 7 miles all terrain walk the day after buying them, no rubbing, or need to break in, just need to get used to the thick sole which is great when going over rocks. Seem good so far.
Waterproof with minimal seams.
Colour and style very nice.
Would definately recommend these boots.

Good fit, definitely waterproof, quality product. Perhaps a little heavier than I expected, but they're still comfortable and easy to walk in.

After 5 wears my feet were soaked with just walking in dewy grass!! Very disappointed. They have been very comfortable from the start but I need waterproofness too.
