Smart, affordable winter-weight fleece
Windermere Fleece
This is a comfortable stylish fleece. Will keep you warm if worn over a base layer. One thing to note is the fit is slightly tight under the arms, so may not suit every physique.

Well made and warm...
Well made and warm enough on its own for moderate November/early December temperatures. Style wise would call it an old fashioned look....like a cross between herring bone and tweedy look. Only major gripe is that the sleeves are VERY tight fitting....I don't know if that is perhaps intentional to trap in heat? I have quite slim arms but if you are in any way a gym bunny you will struggle to get your arms in and out of the sleeves. Minor gripe....no chest pocket for my phone or whatever.

Purchased from Blacks in Aviemore in Oct 2022, I was looking for a winter-weight fleece as I'm choosing minimum central heating this year. I had searched the other outdoor stores on Aviemore's high street but had not found a comparable weight/price. I liked the look of it & Blacks had knocked 17% off the RRP. It's met my needs, being affordable, warm enough for cold days inside and for a day's walk around the lowlands. It fits well in XL (I'm 186 cm & 100 kg), the sleeves are the right length for me, it's not tight to wear and it's kept its look. I'm pleased, I'd buy it again.
