I been mountain camping we grampian 2 man tent a few times now no problems it's great tent took it up north face off ben nevis
Shocking tent, all 4 poles now need replacing
I thought this was a good tent, the geodesic design claims to handle gusty gales like a breeze but when I took it out in 45+ mph winds all the poles bent to the extent that I had to abort my camp at 3am as my tent was now unusable, all 4 poles have bent so I would have to buy new poles. The top of the tent where both poles cross over was almost hitting my face in the gales. Absolutely shocked with the quality of the tent. I have previously given this tent 5/5 due to its quality in the rain. Don't think it's worth the weight at 4+kg. With a tent that heavy, you'd expect it to be bombproof.

Robust design, easy to...
Robust design, easy to pitch - can be done by 1-person. Good amount of space, porch areas front and back are useful. Good value at reduced price
4 season tent that works
Berghaus Grampian 2 man tent is extremely warm as a 4 season 2 man tent, well made very strong and the inner also block's out the light, and if you need to be discreet at night, having the light on inside the sleeping area, it will not show on the outside at night.
During the night with -6 it will get condensation on the inner, but leaving the top part of the sleeping area doors open to allow the air to circulate should help ...
Both vestibule area's provide excellent storage and cooking, my only gripe is beside the tent having a footprint , it only has one footprint for one of the vestibule.

I took the grampian 2 man tent up the North face side of Ben nevis no problem in big gust of wind and also to avimore mountains. Took it to Glenshee in very hevy wind gust and snow had no plomems its a great tent for hillwalking and camping iam so glad I bought that tent.
