This is an excellent walking boot. It's strong and hard wearing but light.

My only complaint is...
My only complaint is that the right boot is rubbing on my heel and Achilles tendon at the moment, but I’m hoping this is just because they need wearing in. They are definitely waterproof, as this has been tested a few times.

Just dreadful...returned without even...
Just dreadful...returned without even trying on. The boot is not one piece of leather, and is stitched together at the instep on the inside of the foot. A recipe for failure, this is not apparent from the photographs. . Unforgivable for a boot with a RRP of 155.00

Good quality shoe - lightweight , but needed to break them in with several walks as parts of the leg supports were catching - but now resolved

I been wear this...
I been wear this style of boot for 7 years. The last generally 2 full winter - spring seasons. The gas remain the same. The leather the look. Urban and country combined

The boot has a...
The boot has a soft leather feel, it is certainly a lot lighter than my 4 season Scarpa boots. I like the fact that the lacing at the top end uses three pairs of metal cleats which provide a large opening, so making it easier to fit on the boots with thick socks.
I would have preferred a larger area on the toes to have the rubber protection as I feel there is a greater danger from abrasion on rocky surfaces which will damage the soft leather with its less resistance to scuffs.
I have not walked in the boots so far so cannot rate their performance.

Done about 30 miles...
Done about 30 miles in these and so far they are v. comfortable and dry. Glad I got them and they are good value if bought at discounted price.

Super comfortable walking boots...
Super comfortable walking boots - did a few miles first time out of the box and felt perfect.
Would recommend.
Very impressive
I’ve got wide feet, so I knew it was a risk buying walking boots online during lockdown. When I tried them on, they did feel a bit tight across the widest part of the foot....but I clumped around the house with them for a couple of days and they felt ok. So I decided to test them properly outside. Having applied a dab of Vaseline to my socks, on the heel and edges of the feet...as I would with any new boots, I set off. I had an eight miler one day and then a five miler the next day and the boots were absolutely fine....very comfortable and no blisters at all. Nice boots

I've only worn for a short walk but they feel very comfortable straight out of the box..My initial impression was surprise at how light a leather boot could be. They appear sturdy and look very nice too - not at all bulky looking.Im looking forward to doing some longer hikes in them

Best walking boots I’ve had, so light you can wear them all day, very comfy and waterproof, great grip. Sadly, I’ll never buy them again due to the outrageous price most retailers now charge, they’re literally £50 more expensive than they were a couple of years ago, that’s a rip off!
