The North Face Men's Hedgehog FutureLight™ Mid Walking Boot

I dont know how anyone can say they aren't waterproof I've just had my foot under the tap and my socks are bone dry

Bough these because the fit very comfortably, despite the reviews warning about not being waterproof. Sadly I will be returning them as I put them to test and found that although the front part of the shoes does not leak they certainly let water in around the lower ankles.

This boot is not waterproof, low quantity materials, as when worn top materials started to rip. Also when wet they have an odd smell, like a cat has pee'd on them. I'm sure this is some kind of treatment used in manufacturing. Just don't buy. They are poor quality throughout and there's better for less.

Lovely lightweight comfortable boot. However, even walking through slightly wet short grass your feet will be soaked. Nice boot for the summer but not fit for purpose in wet conditions. I was mis-sold this product as they are described as waterproof.

These are excellent light boots that make ur feet really comfy whilst hiking, I’ve done the 5 peaks challenge and Ben Nevis 13 times with this boot (I’ve bought 2 pairs) they last for ages and ages and are really light you don’t know your wearing them however they defo aren’t waterproof so if your looking for a fully waterproof boot, please do not buy these.

I bought these boots about a year ago and have worn the about 5 times. They look good and they are comfortable but my feet get absolutely soaked even with the slightest big of dew on the grass let alone heavy rain. I ended up buying expensive waterproof socks to be able to use the boots when wet but unfortunately they didn’t work very well either. I had a pair of Solomon walking boots prior to these and never had an issue with water working it’s way in a d they were used lots of times in bad weather. I’ll be sticking to a tried and tested walking boot brand next time.

My previous Hedgehogs lasted about 10 years, only being re-proofed once or twice. I reluctantly got rid of them after one of the soles began to disintegrate.

Fast forward to the latest non-goretex version. Purchased October 22, both leaked in the same area around the front within two months. As an outdoor product advertised as waterproof, it’s simply not good enough. Buyer beware!

Very disappointed with these North Face boots, only had them a couple of months and they leak badly, I hope to get a refund.

Fourth pair. Purchased in November and already leaking. Obviously like the brand as others wore very well over a number of years.
Change from Goretex possibly not a good move- one is not leaking but I am blessed with two feet !
One boot gets a 4 star rating at present the other sadly ‘ nil points’.

WARNING: avoid North Face footwear. I've experienced issues with soles disintegrating on several pairs of their shoes. I had them only a couple of years and hardly wore them, but still the soles have separated from the uppers. BUYER BEWARE.

I bought these for mr son for Christmas but his old boots fell to pieces so he already has them. He is delighted with them. Says they’re the best boots he’s had. Well comfy was his actual phrase! Waterproof too. Also purchased with a discount so great price as well.

Excellent quality. Extremely comfortable. Exceptional boots. Definitely buy again. On third pair in four years now.

These north face boots are excellent. I always buy these because of the comfort and excellent grip and lightweight.
